P.R.I.D.E. Class – Parent Resources for Information, Development and Education
(2-day class)

- Includes trauma training and cultural awareness
Emergency Behavior Intervention (EBI)
(1-day class)
- Learn verbal ways to deescalate crisis situations while using physical restraints as a last resort
Super Saturdays Class
(1-day class)
- Psychotropic Medications Class – Information to keep up with the latest medications these children may be taking and their possible side effects
- Child Development Class – Shaken baby syndrome, SIDS, Precautions for communicable diseases
- Safety for Children – Transportation Safety, Homes Safety, Water Safety
- Homes with Hope Policy Class – Review all agency policies and parent handbook
Medical Consent Training
- Online training through the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS)
CPR / First Aid Training
- For infant, child and adult
- You are responsible for finding this training, usually available at your local Red Cross or YMCA
